Terms and Conditions for Patient

THE PATIENT TERMS & CONDITIONS (“T&C”) GOVERN YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF MEVITAS HEALTH APP/WEBSITE (THE “PLATFORM”). THESE TERMS CREATE A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND MEVITAS HEALTH.

If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained consent from your parent or legal guardian before using the PLATFORM.

By clicking “Agree/Accept”, you agree to be bound by these T&C at all times. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the PLATFORM.

1. THE SERVICES
1. The PLATFORM is a technology-based service that connects Patients with Registered Medical Doctors for healthcare services via telemedicine.
2. Mevitas Health does not provide medical services directly and is not a healthcare provider. All services are provided by independent licensed Doctors.
3. Doctors may provide:
• Health education
• Counselling
• Medical advice
• Prescriptions (as per applicable laws)
4. All services are provided in accordance with:
• Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) Guidelines
• Applicable laws and regulations of Bangladesh
5. Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies. Patients must seek immediate in-person care in emergency situations.

2. REGISTRATION
1. You must provide accurate information (name, phone, email, etc.) during registration.
2. You agree:
• To maintain confidentiality of your account
• Not to create multiple accounts
• Not to misuse the platform
3. Any unauthorized access or attempt to breach security is strictly prohibited.

3. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
1. The PLATFORM is not a substitute for emergency medical care.
2. Mevitas Health does not guarantee:
• Accuracy of diagnosis
• Effectiveness of treatment
3. All medical decisions are made between you and the Doctor.

4. TERMS OF USE
1. The PLATFORM is for personal, non-commercial use only.
2. The Doctor may:
• Provide consultation
• Suggest tests
• Prescribe medicine
• Refer for physical consultation
3. The PLATFORM:
• Does not guarantee treatment outcomes
• Is not responsible for Doctor’s actions
4. You must provide accurate medical history and information.
5. Abusive, illegal, or harmful behavior will result in account suspension.

5. DATA & PRIVACY
1. By using the PLATFORM, you consent to:
• Collection and processing of your personal and medical data
• Sharing data with Doctors and service providers
2. Your data may be used for:
• Improving services
• Research (without personal identification)
3. Consultations may be recorded (with consent) for quality assurance.

6. PAYMENTS
1. All payments must be made through the PLATFORM.
2. Consultation fees must be paid before accessing services (if applicable).
3. Platform may charge additional service fees.
4. Mevitas Health reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

7. REFUND & CANCELLATION
1. If consultation is delayed beyond 60 minutes, user may request cancellation and refund.
2. If Doctor fails to provide consultation, full refund will be issued.
3. Refunds may take up to 10 working days.
4. Transaction charges may be deducted.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. Mevitas Health is not liable for:
• Medical negligence by Doctors
• Misdiagnosis or treatment outcomes
• Technical issues beyond control
2. Maximum liability of Mevitas Health shall not exceed BDT 1000.

9. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:
• Use abusive language
• Share false or misleading information
• Violate laws
• Harm the platform’s reputation

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the PLATFORM (text, logo, design, software) belongs to Mevitas Health.

You may not:
• Copy
• Modify
• Distribute

without permission.

11. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

Mevitas Health may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the PLATFORM means acceptance of updated Terms.

12. TERMINATION
1. You may stop using the PLATFORM at any time.
2. Mevitas Health may suspend or terminate your account for:
• Violation of Terms
• Misuse of platform
• Legal reasons

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
1. Disputes should first be resolved amicably.
2. If unresolved:
• Mediation will be conducted
• Then arbitration under Bangladesh law
3. Arbitration venue: Dhaka, Bangladesh

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangladesh.
